Development of domestic fiber laser industry

The world laser market and industrial laser market are expanding year by year. In the world laser market, China's laser market share is the largest, occupying the leading position in the world.
Industrial processing is the main application field of laser. Industrial processing and lithography account for about 45% of all laser applications. And fiber laser has become the best choice in the industrial market, which accounts for more than 50% of the industrial laser market.
In the past five years, the market of fiber laser has increased rapidly. Although the growth rate has slowed down in the past two years, the market of fiber laser has increased rapidly from 2.955 billion yuan in 2015 to 8.26 billion yuan in 2019.
According to the data of "2020 China laser industry development report" of Optoelectronic Industry Research Center, IPG occupies the first place in the market share of China's fiber lasers, and the market share of domestic lasers is further expanded. In addition, we should also see that although the market share of foreign enterprises represented by IPG, Ennai and Congxi has decreased to a certain extent, their total market share still accounts for more than 50%. But on the whole, the development speed of domestic enterprises is also quite fast.
In terms of China's fiber laser shipment, it has increased from 13000 in 2013 to 126000 in 2018, but the growth rate is decreasing year by year. Among them, the number of domestic fiber lasers above 1.5KW increased from 5 in 2013 to 2000 in 2018, and the localization rate increased from almost 0 to 34.5%. In 2019, the number of domestic high-power fiber lasers will further increase, and the localization rate will exceed 50%.
In the range of medium power fiber lasers from 100 watts to 1.5 kW, the number of domestic medium power fiber lasers increased from 200 in 2013 to 12500 in 2018, and the localization rate exceeded 55%. Most of the lasers below 100W are nanosecond pulsed fiber lasers. This kind of domestic lasers basically occupy the dominant position, and the localization rate is more than 98%.
